You had me at bridging;) Always thinking about how to bridge across boundaries - thank you for your poetic word.
We (Relational Space) have been engaged to facilitate a London conference this coming Jun - Bodies: Transdisciplinarity as a Power explores the dynamics of transdisciplinarity and power, alongside complexity, understanding that collaborations and knowledge are ever-evolving co-creations. We seek to develop actionable knowledge as a catalyst for collective power and social change. We ask how we might incentivize transdisciplinarity to break free from reductive frameworks. We seek to understand fear as it relates to power including both ‘power over’ and ‘power to’. Through these explorations, we aim to co-curate a participatory exhibition that inspires new ways of knowing and collective flourishing.
Your beautiful paintings and words are what humanity needs to get us through this difficult time of upheaval. Love and unity from the heart and soul. Thank you, I always appreciate your posts, look forward to them. ✨🙏🏼✨💖
I think you are absolutely right, Dr. D. Tragically, people seem to think that merely listening to another’s point of view is tantamount to admitting you are - or could be - wrong. That kind of cognitive dissonance can’t be tolerated in minds that are not “Open to Change.” Bridge Builders are few and far between these days. Our only hope is that they (including you) won’t give up.
PS. I have added your Sunflower Bridge to my cache of “favorite works of art”☺️
The world needs your multicultural/coloured bridges Darren… keep building, I and many others will build with you… sending 🤍always.
"making space for the embrace of every tribe every culture every color" yes, such a beautiful vision to hold, Darren 🙏💛

Wholeheartedly agree! Focus on shared humanity and find the light in every human being.
Great piece swami - just what was needed to start the week! Deep inhalations, complete exhalations... and start bridging!
Great flow and imagery.

Beautiful art and words. Yes, our world needs bridges. Bridges for humanity. Especially ones with sunflowers!
