The decision whether or not to bear a child is central to a woman’s life, to her well-being and dignity. It is a decision she must make for herself. When Government controls that decision for her, she is being treated as less than a fully adult human responsible for her own choices.

For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains,
but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.Nelson ‘Madiba’ Mandela, (1918 – 2013), South African freedom fighter…

to respect & enhance the freedom of American women…
by protecting their access to abortion.
The emphasis must be not on the right to abortion…

the Republic of South Africa 🇿🇦 decided…
to emancipate women & protect their reproductive freedom…

It is vitally important that all structures of government,
including the President himself,
should understand this fully:
that freedom cannot be achieved
unless women have been emancipated from all forms of oppression.

As a tribute to the legions of women…

we ought to imprint in the supreme law of the land,
firm principles upholding the rights of women.
The women themselves and the whole of society…
must make this a prime responsibility…

question for Samuel Alito:
is the United States a democracy… or a theocracy?
'Woman's Rights' - what does that even mean? I am a human being...a person. Agency over my body is a human right, just as men's agency over their body is a human right. Has a man ever had any aspect of his body subjected to legal constraints? Legislating women is infantilizing. It is power-driven and misogynistic. 'Reproductive freedom' is just freedom, and it is a human rights issue...
The right for a woman to be in charge of her reproductive health, her complete wellness is a right which is as fundamental as breathing and should not even be discussed to be litigated, as a society we have no more right to debate or litigate a woman’s health, no more than we do a man’s health. Now, the discussion boils down to some as to whether or not you’re in favor of abortion. Every logical thinking person I know believes in the sanctity and preciousness of life, but included in that preciousness is the right to make a choice and I am In favor of that choice for a woman and whomever she includes in making that choice.
